This is in direct contrast to the rather more common “made to measure” shirt which is simply altered, usually by machine, from a pre-existing stock pattern
• We offer a wide choice of different shirt fabrics, collar and cuff styles and pocket shapes to match your individual style and preference. Personalised initialling is also available
• We use only the highest quality fabrics and materials most of which are sourced from Europe, complemented by top quality craftsmanship
• All of our shirt buttons are mother of pearl. Plastic buttons look dull and yellowy in comparison. All other trimmings used are also the best that money can buy
• We cater for your specific needs and deliver a high level of personal service

Q: How long should I allow for you to complete my bespoke shirt?

A: It would be sensible to allow a period of four weeks from the time of placing an order. If you have a particular requirement for a shirt, or a number of shirts, to be completed in a shorter time frame we will do our utmost, within reason, to accommodate your request.

Q: I am keen to support Australian industry and local jobs and know that an increasing amount of clothing is made overseas. Where are your bespoke shirts made?
A: Most of our bespoke shirts are made by our team right here in Sydney. At one time we did experiment with having shirts manufactured in Asia, but the negatives heavily outweighed any benefit in price. Some are made for us by a small family owned company in Florence, which allows our clients access to an increased selection of fabrics and styles.

Q: What Is Your Price Range For Bespoke Shirts?
A: Our bespoke shirts range in price from $310 to $450 depending on your fabric choice.

Q: Do You Keep My Measurements On File?
A: Yes, once you have ordered with us we keep your records on file, so that re-ordering is much easier and less time consuming for you in the future.

Q: Will You Need To Re-Measure Me Every Time I Order?
A: No, once we have your details on file there is no need for you to be measured every time you order a new shirt unless you believe you have lost, or gained, a significant amount of weight.

Q: Where Do Your Shirt Fabrics Come From?

Q: Do You Accept AMEX?
A: Yes, we accept all major credit and debit cards including Amex, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club and JCB, plus cash and personal cheques.

Q: What items of clothing should form the basis of a gentleman’s corporate wardrobe and how many shirts do you think I should have?
A: John Cutler’s recommendation is:

Five or six business suits in a variety of colours including plain navy blue, blue stripe, plain charcoal or charcoal herringbone, mid grey or grey stripe and grey flannel. Weights and styles to depend on personal preference and pattern of international travel.
